Workflow Introduction

Work orders that have been persisted – whether from a mobile submission, Web form update, or a 3rd Party API call initiates a call to the Digital Workorder workflow system.  The workflow for a form is defined at the form type level using a set of sequential conditions and actions.  The Web UI Portal provides a dynamic user interface to define these sequential conditions and actions.   The system currently provides a set of default actions such as Update the work order, Create new work orders, Send Email Notifications, Send to File Systems, Send JSON to 3rd Party, and can be expanded to include as many actions are necessary by developing a DWO action plugin.
